Dora is special beyond words. We received such a glowing review from a trusted coworker, and we knew instantly that this was the place for our son. We signed on 3 months before Sammy was born. This was the best decision of our lives. It took no time for us to feel like family. The care, love, and support that Dora and her team (and family) provided was unparalleled. My name is Sheyree Williams.I am apart of one of Ms. Dora's earliest groups of children at Bright Beginners. I am a twin, and so both my sister and I were in her daycare together. I really enjoyed my experience with her program because she encouraged my passion for reading, taught me how to write, and even gave me extra work when I wanted it. Ms.Dora also always made homemade food for us to eat, and her rice and black beans will always be my favorite. She has also always been there for both me, my sister, and my parents. Over the years, she has invited us to birthdays, Christmas parties, and has always kept us in her spirits. I will always recommend Bright Beginners to anyone looking for a good daycare with nourishment and well rounded education for your child(ren). Finding Dora and her Bright Beginners daycare was one of the best things I did as a new mom! She was so nurturing and cared so deeply for my boys while my husband and I had to work that I always felt good about leaving them in her care. She is well educated about child development, flexible, kind and always nonjudgmental. My boys and I have many fond memories of Dora and in turn have come to care for her and her family. Bright Beginners is a dream come true when looking for a childcare professional. A program that offers everything from healthy meals, bilingual education, active indoor/outdoor splashing play, a safe environment, an extremely clean space and most importantly showers your child with love as if they were her own. Most kids are snack-a-holics but with warm meals daily and the variety of healthy options my daughter learned nutrition from an early age pointing at fruit instead of chips at the grocery store. At Bright Beginners during the cold months my daughter loved to have a bowl of soup and warm milk which most providers leave all the meal prep to the parent which is costly, time consuming, and not to mention cold everyday.  During COVID my child was taught how to properly wear a mask at the age of 1 which most adults struggled with protocol. A clean environment makes all the difference when worried about being a working parent because sick kids mean days off. Whatever her cleaning and sanitizing regimen is she should teach a class for other providers. I have 2 other children that took months to potty train and with consistent routines provided by Ms.Dora and an at home potty time plan she created, my daughter was trained in roughly 2 weeks with knowledge on how to wipe properly and wash her hands. She really encourages and updates about every milestone so working as a team through a child's progress was more seamless. Instantly broke down and cried to know my 15 month old was able to sing twinkle twinkle little star in English and Spanish as well as many other songs word for word. My daughter was outgoing but developmentally behind her peers which was cause for concern. Ms.Dora voiced her professional opinion and assured me she would work with my daughter more on communicating. My pediatrician wanted to hold off on testing based on her age but did notice the markers in which Ms. Dora pointed out. With the training of the staff encouraging her how to work through communicating with adults and her peers the growth was noticed immediately. I would only have another child knowing that Bright Beginners has an open slot. They are our forever family checking in over time and absolutely the best care giver I have know to date. I am so happy to share a review about our experience at Bright beginners. Our son Micah is now almost 9 years old but the impression that Mrs. Dora and her staff left him and us with is everlasting. Anyone would be skeptical or a little afraid to send their first child to daycare but Mrs. Dora came very highly recommended. When we visited to check everything out we knew right away that our son would be safe, very well taken care of and taught necessary things to move them forward. She is a teacher and cares so much about their education and that completely spilled over into Micah's development. I loved that she made home cooked healthy meals for the children She expanded their pallets and since I've never stopped cooking black beans and rice. Lol. It was really a family environment and I'm one of many families who still have so much contact with her and still reach out to give her updates on Micah. My nephew also went to Mrs Dora and had a great experience as well, so it was truly a family affair for us. I'm so proud of her! We continue to uplift and strongly support the growth of  Bright Beginners. We know that will always continue to serve the families and the children with a pure heart for developing our children physically, mentally, and emotionally. One of the best experiences EVER that began Micah on a trajectory of academic success and an amazing balance of love and discipline! I can’t say enough good things about Bright Beginnings!!! Our journey started a while ago during pre-school for my 2 children! They received the best start with Bright Beginners from being taught to having fun exercising to eating the best food! Things they have taken with them since preschool. Amari is a Junior and Joseph is a Sophomore in High School and cannot stop talking about Ms Dora and Bright Beginners! The school have set them up for success and I can tell you my two are very good and bright students. I get compliments about them all the time!!! We love Bright beginners and you will too! The first time I walked in to Bright Beginnings I knew this was the place for my son. Mrs. Dora and her staff is caring, attentive and your child needs are met. My son loved the food rice and beans.
